ARTIST BIO

Anne Elizabeth Sobieski is a contemporary artist and teacher. She founded the project space, Studio 44. Sobieski earned a B.F.A. in Illustration from Art Center College of Design and an MFA in Painting from Claremont Graduate University. Sobieski has exhibited nationally and internationally at Bruno David Gallery, St. Louis, White Box Contemporary, San Diego, American Club, Shanghai, Plan:D Gallery, Los Angeles, Peggy Phelps Gallery, Claremont, and Sarah Bain Gallery, Brea. She was awarded a Los Angeles County Arts Commission. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
