ARTIST BIO

Carey Coleman (b. 1991) is a Los-Angeles based artist from Waverly, VA. Coleman earned her MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles (2018), a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from SMFA at Tufts (2015), and a BA from the University of Virginia (2014). She has participated in exhibitions at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art; the University of Virginia; the University of Alaska, Fairbanks; Lesley University; the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University; the University of California, Los Angeles; California State University, Long Beach; Millard Sheets Art Center, Pomona, CA; New Release Gallery, NY; Human Resources, Los Angeles; and Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Los Angeles.
