ARTIST BIO

Chelsea Gibson (b.1983) is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA) and Boston University (MFA), and attended two Drawing Marathons at the New York Studio School. Her solo exhibition “My Kitchen Table” with Lyons-Wier Gallery in Chelsea, NY was in 2019. She has been featured on Mike Weiss and Virginia Martinsen’s “Gates of the West” which led to a mention in a New York Times article in 2019. Gibson has shown widely in the US in solo and group exhibitions including 527 Madison Ave New York; Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville AL; Able Baker Contemporary, Portland ME; Blue Mountain Gallery, NY; Bullet Space Urban Artist Collective, NY; New York Studio School Invitational, NY; Kate Alkarni Gallery, Seattle WA. Gibson’s work has been featured in “I Like Your Work Podcast” by Erika Hess, MILKED Magazine, and “Art in the Making” by the Fisher Press. Gibson lives and works currently in Brattleboro, VT.
