ARTIST BIO

Felice Grodin is a visual artist with a background in architecture. She received her Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. work combines the real and the virtual through experimental and transdisciplinary projects that reframe the familiar and confront the uncanny. Her exhibition Felice Grodin: Invasive Species (2018-2022) at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), became the first (AR) augmented reality-only contemporary art show in the United States. The exhibition included a year of research, infrastructure building, digital creation, and collaboration. She continued partnering with PAMM in the export of AR projects for: UNTITLED Art Fair (2018), The Deering Estate (2019), and Miami International Airport (2020-21). In 2021 she participated in Art Basel Miami’s Conversations program for the panel discussion Immersive Installations? Digital Experiences in the Exhibition. She is a founding member of the art collaborative Alliance of the Southern Triangle (AST), an initiative speculating on interconnections between climate change, real-estate development, contemporary art, geopolitics, infrastructure, and technology.
