'Linnéa' is the feminine form of Carl Linnaeus, a Swedish botanist who designed the sprawling Latin taxonomy used for the natural world. The name is related to the Latin word for 'line', a tool Linnéa favors most in delving into the nature of systems, history and the natural world - in all their diversity, intelligence, disintegration and transformation.
