ARTIST BIO

Megan Hyde is an interdisciplinary artist working across performance, video, and installation. Her work seeks to give form to interior, psychologically charged spaces that offer alternative ways of relating to herself and the world around her. Her work has been recently featured in the group exhibitions Dream Alliance at ChaShaMa Gallery in New York and To Whom It May Concern at Mission Hill Gallery at Tufts University. Past solo exhibitions include A Spell for Love (2022) at Women’s Work Gallery in Poughkeepsie, NY and Under the Mirrored Moon (2021) at Cool Change Gallery in Perth, Australia. Hyde received a BA in Art History from Union College (2005) and an MA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008). She is currently based in Boston where she is an MFA candidate in Interdisciplinary Studio Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
