Roxy Savage (Roxanne Faber Savage) was born in 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Roxy earned an MFA in Art Practice from The School of Visual Arts, New York, NY, an MS ED from Queens College, Queens, NY, and a BFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. Roxy is an interdisciplinary artist whose artworks focus on domestic life, identity, and female empowerment. She is a seasoned educator and Teaching Artist with Arts for Learning CT, specializing in arts-integrated curricula. Her exhibitions include Hera Gallery (RI), ArtPort Kingston (NY), SVA Flatiron Gallery (NY), and Playform io. (internet). Residencies include Arts Letters Numbers,(NY) ChaNorth,(NY) Atlantic Center For The Arts,(FL) Mass MoCA,(MA) and Weir Farm Art Center (CT). Awards include the MFA Art Practice Thesis Award, the School of Visual Arts, and a full fellowship at Queens College.
