ARTIST BIO

Amina Cruz was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and Tampa, FL. She earned her BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design. Cruz has exhibited her works at Grand Park, Self Help Graphics, AMAX Gallery, Red Floor Gallery, La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, Institute of Contemporary Art, Tom of Finland House, Leiminspace, Espacio 1839 (Los Angeles, CA); Armory Center for the Arts (Pasadena, CA); San Diego Art Institute (San Diego, CA); Long Hall (West Hollywood, CA); The Village at Ed Gould Plaza, (Hollywood, CA); and Distillery Gallery (Boston, MA). Press includes Intellect Books, Los Angeles Times, Vice, and Voyage LA. She is currently enrolled in the MFA program at UCLA.
