ARTIST BIO

Beth Fiedorek (b. 1986, St. Louis) uses multiple media stemming from traditional painting to explore historical narratives and ideas of the body, particularly in the United States. She received an MFA from CalArts and a BA from Yale University and has exhibited her work at ArtCenter, Los Angeles, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and Crane Arts Philadelphia, among others. Her recent solo show “Gratitude Girl: Love Number” was presented in 2021 at the mobile gallery MOTOR LA and reviewed in the Los Angeles blog Art and Cake. She is the recipient of a Hemera Fellowship and has attended residencies including Atlantic Center for the Arts.
