ARTIST BIO
Cheyann Washington (b. Inglewood, CA) earned a BA from the Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia, PA. Washington specializes in painting and incorporates a variety of mediums such as silk paintings, oil paintings, and charcoal. Her work focuses on the connection between the human body and nature, and she frequently applies vibrant colors to her paintings. An interest in nature extends beyond her art as Washington has conducted research in biology and botany.
