ARTIST BIO

Christine Frerichs is a painter and educator living and working in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. She received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from UC Riverside and her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Arizona, Tucson. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and reviewed in Artforum, Art ltd, and the Los Angeles Times, amongst other publications. Solo exhibitions have been held at Klowden Mann, Culver City, CA; 101 California, San Francisco, CA; VOLTA NY, New York City; Kaycee Olsen Gallery, Culver City, CA; Sweeney Art Gallery, Riverside, CA; and Phantom Gallery, Tucson, AZ.
