ARTIST BIO

Julika Lackner was born in 1980 in Berlin, Germany. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara in Art Studio (2001) and an M.F.A. from the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena in Painting (2006). In her work, she focuses on the phenomena of landscape in terms of atmosphere, color, shape and light. Her work has recently been shown at Ladies’ Room (Los Angeles), MiM Gallery (Los Angeles)., TW Fine Art (Brisbane Australia), and Gippsland Art Gallery (Sale, Australia), Sullivan Goss (Santa Barbara, CA). She had her first museum exhibition at the Forest Lawn Museum (Glendale, CA) earlier this year.
