ARTIST BIO

Linda Hall’s work is often soft sculpture comprised of textiles, papier-mâché, and found materials. These works are engaged in public performances as well as galleries. She holds an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work is in a variety of museum collections throughout the south, has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and have also been featured in numerous publications such as Oxford American, Raw Vision, New American Paintings, and Five Point literary journal. She also creates public projects such as concerts, plays, processions and parades. She currently makes her home in Tallahassee, Florida, where she maintains a studio in the historic Smoky Hollow section of town.
