ARTIST BIO

Samantha Salzinger works in photography, video and film, fabricating large-scale dioramas of strange places. The constructed environments encourage the spectator to stand in subjective relation to the landscape. The resulting images consider the human experience and ponder our origins, our destiny, and our place in the universe.

Samantha obtained her MFA from Yale University and is a three-time recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship and winner of the Best Short Sci-Fi Film from the Shawna Shea Film Festival.
