ARTIST BIO

Sarah Ippolito is a Los Angeles-based artist from Houston, Texas. She received a BFA in Sculpture from The University of Houston (2010) and an MFA in Fiber and Material Studies from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2012). She was an Alley fellow at A+D Architecture and Design Museum in Los Angeles (2019). Solo and two-person exhibitions include Lion House, Ojai, CA; Ace Hotel, Los Angeles; A+D Museum, Los Angeles; Adjunct Positions, Los Angeles; and 5790 Projects, Los Angeles. Select group exhibitions include Camayuhs; The Future Perfect, Los Angeles; Frank Gehry's Spiller House; School of the Art Institute of Chicago; Wuho Gallery; Hou Yee Chan Gallery; Matchbox Gallery at Rice University; and Sullivan Galleries, Chicago.

Ippolito is currently a contemporary art lecturer at Art Muse Los Angeles. She has an upcoming solo exhibition in Los Angeles called BOW DEUX (2023) as well as a group exhibition at Forest Lawn Museum, Los Angeles (2023).
